A few thoughts
We breed very rarely and have had very few litters.
When we do have puppies, we raise them with a great deal of love, time and attention.
We raise puppies using a combination of Puppy Culture and Avidog programmes. You can read more about these programmes on our site here.
These programmes mean your puppy will receive optimal socialisation and 1-2-1 time and attention throughout their time with us.
ABILITY IN THE FIELD
We aim to breed dogs with potential in the field.
The majority of gundogs worldwide are not bred for performance in the field. They are bred for the (much larger) pet and show markets.
We look for considerable field achievements on the pedigrees of any dogs we breed from.
We take into account the individual dog’s achievements and ability.
Puppies are raised using both Puppy Culture and Avidog to ensure they fulfil their potential, are well-socialised and grow up super-smart and trainable.
Our preference is for fast, high-energy and stylish dogs - which are also biddable, responsive and affectionate.

Health
We strive to breed dogs which will live long and healthy lives.
We complete health tests for the breed.
If a DNA test finds a dog is a Carrier for a condition, we will ensure that the dog is only bred to a Clear dog.
We aim to reduce COIs and ensure genetic diversity.
