There is now substantial evidence that it is best for a dog's long-term physical health and behaviour for them to remain intact (not neutered). We would really prefer that male dogs are not neutered unless for a medical reason and that female dogs are spayed only at the age of 6-8yo, preferably with an ovary-sparing spay which allows them to retain their hormones. We are able to provide you with a lot of published research to support this perspective. Would you consider this?
